Opening for a research assistant in the Dubai-based news room. The principle tasks of the research assistant is to build the information library of the Middle-East desk, to verify the news stories’ facts and figures, to conduct research on potential new stories and features and to assist the Managing Editor and the Information officers in the office’s daily tasks.

Les dates de remise des résultats par ordre chronologique:

Political Science:

• Mardi 20 juin, 16 h, Villa Barton.

Economie – Trade & Money:

• Mercredi 21 juin, 9 h, U600 a lieu la correction des examens et la remise des examens.
• Les résultats sur le site de Prof. Wyplosz

Droit international:

• Mercredi 21 juin dans la conférence de droit (12-14 h), U600.

Histoire:

• Les examens vont être remis mercredi, 21 juin à AJF:
  • pour A-K à 14.30 h
  • pour L-Z à 15.15 h

• Les notes seront affichés dans la villa Barton, il faut alors prendre avec le numéro d'étudiant!

I'd like to use the opportunity to thank the organizers of this wunderful BBQ, i.e. Chiara and Noemie and of course everybody else who helped! Great job!

Remise des résultats d’examen

Un petit recaptitulatif pour la dernière semaine du semestre:

Histoire:

• La date pour la remise des notes et des examens n'est pas encore determiné.
• Lundi 19 juin va être le dernier cours avec M. Hammer. C'est fort probablement son tout dernier cours à HEI.

Droit international:

• Remise des examens et des résultats – y inclus résultats finaux – mercredi 21 juin pendant la conférence (12-14h).
• Si on veut envoyer quelqu'un qui prend la copie à sa place, il faut prévenir l'assistant en question. Sinon, il ne remettra pas la copie.
• Les séminaires ont encore lieu le 19 et le 22 juin.

Economie – Trade & Money:

• Correction de l'examen: Mercredi 21 juin, 9.00h, U600; là, nous allons aussi reçevoir les examens (Merci Jé.)
• Il n'y a pas de séminaires à part ça.

Political Science:

• Remise des résultats: Mardi 20 juin, 16 h, Hall Villa Barton

Félicitations! Pour une partie d'entre nous, l'année académique est terminé! Mais aussi pour ceux qui doivent se remettre au travail, détendez-vous. Et n'oubliez en aucun cas le Summer BBQ jeudi soir!

Je vais assurer le site hei05 en tout cas jusqu'en juillet pour les exas, même que je ne sais pas encore si j'y serais… Alors: vous pouvez toujours envoyer vos transcriptions actualisés.

Suite à la réunion de l'Assemblée Générale de la 'Student Association Committee (SAC)' hier soir, j'aimerais vous présenter le nouveau Comité et les gens qui se sont inscrits pour aider aux commissions:

Summer BBQ

• Place: HEI cafe on the terrace
• Time: Thursday 15th of June. Officially from 18h (we have history from 14h-16h) until midnight.
• Event: Summer BBQ.
• To bring: People can bring meat and other things to cook on bbqs that we will provide. It would be wonderful if people could also bring things like salads or desserts that they can share with each other. Bring blankets and paper plates and knifes and forks, as you would for any picnic. – If you intend to bring salad or dessert, please leave a little note as "comment" for coordination.
• It would be wonderful if people brought music compilations (I recomand NOT original CDs, as you might never get them back!). Bring cameras too so we can remember the night.
• We will provide: a bar with very cheap beer and non-alcoholic drinks. We might also have wine, but we won't be selling any strong alcohol.

HELP NEEDED:

• Clean up crew, as we will have to leave the park in perfect order when we leave if we want to have any more parties. The event shouldn't finish too late, so it won't be that hard to stay around to help. If people are interested in giving a hand, please contact me from this email address.
• We also need people to work at the bar, at the grills and to help us do groceries on Thursday morning. If someone has a car, it would be even better!
• Stereo & BBQ: We are looking for a stereo and a BBQ if any one has one we could use.
